The members of Good Shepherd started celebrating the Christmas season by offering Advent Meditations beginning November 30.  The theme of our mid-week Advent services is “Tidings of Comfort and Joy.” The phrase comes from the chorus of the traditional Christmas carol, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.”   During the four Wednesdays prior to Christmas, we’ll explore the angel’s greetings to various people around the theme of fear, confusion, doubt and curiosity. This worship series will include Advent hymns, Scripture readings, a brief homily, and an opportunity for artistic expression by all in attendance.  Everyone is welcome to join us.
